🧠 What is an escape room?
An escape room is an interactive adventure game where your team explores a themed space filled with puzzles, codes, and mysteries. You’ll have 60 minutes to complete your mission before time runs out.
🎟️ Do I need to book in advance? Do you accept walk-ins?
We strongly recommend booking online to guarantee your preferred time. Our games are private and scheduled by reservation, so availability depends on bookings. Browse and book on our escape room collection page.
🔒 Are your escape rooms private?
Yes — every booking is private to your group. You’ll never be paired with strangers.
🕰️ How long does each escape room last?
Gameplay is 60 minutes. Plan for about 75–90 minutes total with check-in, briefing, and wrap-up.
👥 How many players can participate?
Most rooms are ideal for 2–8 players. Larger groups can book multiple rooms running at the same time. For company outings, visit our Corporate Team Building page.
💰 How much does it cost?

📍 Where are you located?
112 S Sandusky St, Delaware, Ohio 43015 — in historic downtown Delaware, about 30 minutes north of Columbus.
🚪 Will we be locked in?
No. Safety comes first — doors remain accessible at all times. Your goal is solving the mystery before time expires.
😱 Are the escape rooms scary?
Some themes are spooky and suspenseful, while others focus on adventure and mystery. If you want a specific vibe, check the description on each room before booking.
🎄 What is Twisted Tidings?
Twisted Tidings is a seasonal holiday overlay of The House in the Woods, typically running November through January.
👶 What ages can play?
All ages are welcome. Players under age 14 require a parent or guardian.
🚗 Where can we park?
There’s a private lot nearby plus street parking within a block.
🕓 What are your hours?
Our hours vary based on bookings and private events. Please check current availability on our booking pages or call ahead if you’re planning a group.
📸 Can we take photos or videos?
Photos after your game are encouraged! No recording during play to keep clues secret.
🎁 Do you sell gift cards?
Yes — gift cards are available online and in-store.
