How It Works
Crooked Cottage is a private-booking facility. When you book, the entire room is yours — no strangers, no shared time slots, just your group and the adventure ahead. Our facility is unstaffed during your session, so you get a genuinely immersive experience without anyone hovering over you.
Arrive, get your briefing, and disappear into another world for 60–75 minutes. Afterward, celebrate however you like — we're 25 minutes from Columbus and surrounded by great options for dinner, drinks, or dessert.
Choose Your Adventure
We have five themed rooms, each with its own atmosphere and capacity. Mix and match for larger groups, or go all-in on one experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to call ahead for a birthday booking?
No call required — just book online and note in your order that it's a birthday celebration. We'll make sure the bag is ready for your group's arrival.
Can we bring a cake or decorations?
You're welcome to bring small decorations and treats to enjoy before or after your session. We ask that nothing is brought inside the rooms themselves to protect the sets.
What if our group is larger than one room's capacity?
For a larger birthday group, contact us before booking. Crabtree Manor holds up to 12 players, and we can help plan suitable rooms and times for a multi-room visit.
How far in advance should we book?
Weekend slots — especially Friday and Saturday evenings — fill up quickly. We recommend booking at least two to three weeks out for birthday groups, and further ahead during summer and holiday seasons.
Is Crooked Cottage staffed during our session?
Yes indeed! Our gamemaster will guide your group through the entire experience.
