Potions. Wands. Mandrakes. Crystals. And puzzles powered by more electronics than any room we've ever built. Wizarding University is a fully immersive magical academy escape room — and it opens its doors in July 2026 at Crooked Cottage in Delaware, Ohio.
What Awaits Inside
Wizarding University is set inside a magical academy where something has gone wrong — and your group of students has been tasked with setting it right. The room is filled with potions to brew, wands to wield, crystals to harness, and mandrakes that may or may not cooperate. It's our most electronics-rich room by far, with interactive elements that respond to what you do rather than just what you find.
It's designed to be our most accessible room — welcoming for younger players and families while still delivering the layered puzzle experience that brings adults back for a second visit. If you've been waiting for a reason to bring the kids to Crooked Cottage, this is it.
And because Raven's Cauldron — our partner crystal and occult shop in the same building — has been part of this world since 2019, the crystals in this room aren't props. They're the real thing.

Wizarding University joins a roster of five immersive escape rooms already running at Crooked Cottage. Every room is a private booking in a real historic building in downtown Delaware, Ohio — 25 minutes from Columbus.

Is it appropriate for kids?
Yes — Wizarding University is designed to be our most family-friendly room. All ages are welcome. Players under 14 require a parent or guardian present.
How scary is it?
Not very — this is our most accessible room and is built around wonder and discovery rather than horror. Families with younger children will find it comfortable and exciting.
How many people can play?
Up to 6 players per private session. All bookings are private — your group only, no strangers added to your game.
What's the connection to Raven's Cauldron?
Raven's Cauldron is our partner crystal and curiosity shop located in historic downtown Delaware. The crystals featured in Wizarding University are sourced through Raven's Cauldron — they're real, not props. Visit Raven's Cauldron.
