Joyce the Doll in her case — WARNING POSITIVELY DO NOT OPEN — Joyce's Dollhouse at Crooked Cottage in Delaware, Ohio

Joyce Babcock Is Still Here

During renovation of the Crooked Cottage building, workers found an address card for someone named Joyce Babcock sealed inside the wall of what would become our dollhouse room. Nobody put it there. Nobody knows how long it had been inside that wall.

Since opening, this room has had the highest concentration of unexplained activity in the building — motion cameras triggering on empty rooms, cold spots, electronics glitching, reported apparitions. The paranormal investigation your group conducts is built around finding out who Joyce Babcock was and why she hasn't left. Whether you believe in hauntings or not, something in this room doesn't behave the way it should.

Joyce's Dollhouse — Our Westerville Recommendation

Joyce's Dollhouse is a paranormal investigation escape room — scare level 6 out of 10. It's dark, genuinely atmospheric, and built around a mystery with a real paper trail. The room features a prominent Raggedy Ann doll — a nod to the famous Annabelle case — displayed in a locked case marked "WARNING — POSITIVELY DO NOT OPEN." Your group has 60 minutes to investigate, uncover, and decide whether you want to know what you've found.

Every booking is completely private. Your group is never mixed with strangers — no one else will be added to your session regardless of room capacity. Up to 6 players per session.
